Regional Development and Public Works Minister Assen Gagauzov met today a French business delegation consisting of company representatives from Bouygues Group, Colas Group and IRH Environment.
The delegation showed interest in transport infrastructure and the water supply and drainage projects, Focus news agency reported.
During the meeting Gagauzov said exactly how much EU financing Bulgaria will receive from 2007 to 2013 for transport infrastructure reforms. The funds are insufficient and the projects will also receive government and private sector financial aid.
The projects include the construction of Struma, Maritza and Cherno More highways. Over 120 km from Hemus highway have already been built.
As far as the water and drainage sector is concerned, the World Bank will finance the establishment of new drinking water dams.
Bouygues Group specialises in transport infrastructure, highway, bridge and tunnel construction. Colas Group produces road construction materials and IRH Environment designs and builds drainage systems and water purification stations.
