Representatives of 150 airports and 75 aviation companies are taking part in an aviation forum taking place in Sofia.
Branch representatives will talk about new aviation market opportunities and destinations that will be offered in 2007, Novinar newspaper reported.
The regional forum began on May 13 and will last until May 15. This is the second such seminar organised to deal with the rapidly developing European aviation market. Dynamics resulted from the activities of low-cost companies.
Four years ago, a similar forum was carried out in Asia. Europe started carrying out such regional summits in 2006 to plan new destinations and strategies for international market participation.
Sofia Airport is the official host of the event. Bulgaria Air, Hemus Air and Viaggio Air are Bulgaria’s national representatives.
