Cuban Latino celebrity Raul Paz arrived in Sofia and is expected to perform during the opening night of the Bansko Jazz Fest.

Paz would take part in the ninth edition of the international festival opened on August 8, Darik Radio reported.

During the opening night Paz would present his latest album Revolucion. It mixes Cuban music with electronic sound.

Other events scheduled for the ninth edition of the fest include performances of the Radio Belgrade Big Band, the Dutch gypsy trio Tolga and Cuban quartet Sexto Sentido.

Some of the Bulgarian performers to take part in the event are Kamelia Todorova, Mihail Yosifov, Teodosi Spasov’s trio and ethno-jazz band Bulgara.
