A new extremist Islamic organisation maintains camps in Bulgaria, Serbian Security Information Agency (BIA) said.
BIA warned the Serbian parliament that the Salaf extremist Islamic organisation had emerged in Southern Serbia, especially in the Albanian-populated municipalities, Serbian newspaper Politika said.
The organisation had camps also in Bulgaria, Greece, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania and other countries in the region, BIA said.
The groups were a potential security threat, Politika said as quoted by Bulgarian news agency BTA.
Detection of appearance of the extremist Islamic group in the region was very important after anti-terrorist actions in early November in several European countries when 37 members of the Islamic group were detained.
The group was said to recruit volunteers for suicidal attacks in Iran and Afghanistan, Politika said.

| Brilliant! Just in case any terorists may have missed Bulgarian intelligence surveilance, or foreign news of their activities, the Sofia Echo will tip them off with a news headline.
Are the media in Bulgaria insane!!

| Whatever...
Serbs are xenophobic, liars and unscrupulously slanderers...
How come, after all, that serbian "intelligence" has information on this group and its bases and none of the rest of Balkan states knows a thing? Is this a freaky joke? Islamic groups operating in Greece? Are you laughing your ass off your readers? This is just another helter-skelter of those bombshells of serb propaganda. In just a word, i mean, bullshit!
There's no islamic or jihadist groupings in the Balkans, and if it be, nobody can recruit them for suicide missions in a god-forgotten Afghanistan. If there were a recruitment to be made, we'd see guts, bowels and entrails all over Belgrade...
This is no news, this is crap.
