Bulgarian President Georgi Purvanov has nominated famous Bulgarian jazz musician Milcho Leviev for the Saints Kiril and Metodii order, the President's office said.
Purvanov made the proposal because of Leviev's considerable contribution to the development of culture and art and to mark the musician’s December 19 2007 70th birthday.
Leviev has won a number of awards, including Grammy wins and nominations, and is listed in all major international music encyclopaedias.
