- Bulgarian daily 24Chasa reports that each imported car older than 10 years will be levied a 200 leva eco-tax. The amount of the tax was proposed by Stanishev.

- Bulgarian daily Standard reported that Deep Zone and Balthazar, Bulgaria's representatives in the Eurovision 2008 contest, would embark on a European tour. Among the places where they would perform were fashionable clubs in London, including The Collection, which is owned by Paris Hilton. Upcoming concerts are in Athens and Bucharest, Standard said.

International

- Standard quoted findings from a survey by the UK Institute of Social Policy Studies, which said that out of a total of a million immigrants from Eastern Europe that arrived in the UK after 2004, half of the immigrants has returned to their home countries. More were expected to return as living standards in countries of origin improved, the report said.
