Politics

- Members of Parliament (MPs) can lie about their incomes and properties with impunity, according to Sega daily. MPs secretly approved such possibility back in 2004. This became clear after the controversy over the double identity of Deputy Foreign Minister Feim Chaushev.

- “Bulgaria invited to rule in Kosovo”, Sega said, explaining that Bulgaria was invited to take part in the political board of 15 countries that would influence Kosovo’s decisions.

Social

- Sofia City Prosecution withdrew its appeal against regulation on taxes in Sofia, Dnevnik daily said. The withdrawal was made hours after the appeal was filed.

Economy

- A total of 100 yachts were sold in Bulgaria within a year, according to luxury vessel importers,  Dnevnik said. Importers expect revenue raised in 2008 from sales to exceed 30 million leva.
