- Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) violated the law, Sega daily claims, quoting SAC head Konstantin Penchev admit that the court lacked conditions to resolve all cases related to the municipal election in the autumn of 2007.

- Maslarova to teach even lazy workers how to work, a headline in Sega reads. The Labour and Social Policy Ministry was working on a programme for activation of the unused reserve on the Bulgarian labour market.
- Over-the-counter drugs will be sold online, Dnevnik reported, estimating the market for such medicines at 300 million leva annually.

- According to Dnevnik daily, OLAF will check more companies that received money under the SAPARD pre-accession aid programme. The European Commission (EC) wanted to cut off funding for 49 projects worth 81.4 million leva, the daily said.
- EC will introduce harsher controls over the spending of EU funds, an article in Dnevnik says. The EC was discussing the idea to take away control over the structural funds as well, if the country failed to show quality control over spending.
