- The active civil protests and the wide media coverage of the planned construction on Strandja natural park's coastline yielded the result that environmentalists were asking for, Dnevnik said. The Ministry of Environment and Water Affairs decided that the environmental assessment of the amendments in the Tsarevo municipality zoning plan should be revised.

- The Interior Ministry professionally remains silent on the case of the kidnapped wife of football boss Angel Bonchev, Kamelia, Sega said. The ministry believed that the victim was alive.

Economy

- A Turkish company and a consortium would build the second line of the Sofia metro, Dnevnik said. Total costs amount to roughly 470 million leva, with some 370 million to be provided under the EU Operational Programme for Transport, the newspaper reported.
