- Rightist politicians, diplomats and observers have criticised Bulgaria's stand on Kosovo as vague and unhealthily hesitant, Dnevnik daily said.

- Rightist parties in Parliament refused to make a formal alliance with with former National Movement for Stability and Progress (NMSP) members of Parliament, who have formed the Bulgarian New Democracy (BND) parliamentary group after leaving NMSP, Monitor daily said.

- Stefan Sofianski had his smile back as the court found him not guilty in the last, fourth trial held against him, Standart daily.

- High electricity bills in January 2008 were due to the fact that distribution utilities' employees assigned to calculate the amount of electricity consumption did this without looking at power consumption meters at all, Sega daily reported.

- The designing of the second Danube bridge at between Vidin and Calafat was four months behind schedule, Simeon Evtimov, in charge of the project at the transport ministry, was quoted as saying by Trud daily.
