President Georgi Purvanov will take part in the two-day NATO summit held in Riga.
The event would be held for the first time in one of the countries accepted to the alliance in 2004, Darik Radio reported.
Forum participants will talk about NATO transformation. Macedonia, Croatia and Albania expect to learn more about NATO membership opportunities.
NATO would also evaluate the effectiveness of its peacekeeping operations in Kosovo and Afghanistan, Darik reported.
Since the global security situation was changing, NATO transformations were inevitable. Leaders of NATO member countries would discuss opportunities for enhancing the alliance's military capacity, the report said.
A document to be drafted on November 29 will list all decision taken during the summit.
