POSSIBLY NO HOME GAMES FOR BULGARIA’S CSKA
16:17 Fri 05 Oct 2007

UEFA may punish Bulgaria’s football club CSKA by not letting it host some of the matches in the European tournaments in the 2007/2008 season.

Reason for the punishment would be the behaviour of CSKA fans during the 1-1 match against Toulouse on October 4.

Numerous objects were thrown from the stands, after Toulouse player Gignac scored a goal in the match in the first round of UEFA cup, Focus news agency reported.

With the goal, Toulouse reached a  1-1 draw in the six minutes into extra time. CSKA fans threw bottles of mineral water and parts of seats towards Gignac.

The first match between the two teams was held in France in September 2007 and ended at 0:0.

Gignac’s goal pushed CSKA out of the tournament because a goal scored at the rival’s terrain is higher valued.
