Bilateral political consultations between the foreign ministries of Bulgaria and Austria were carried out on December 17 in Vienna, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said.

The Bulgarian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Lyubomir Kyuchoukov.

Host on the Austrian part was Hans Winkler, State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.

The main topics of the talks between Kyuchoukov and Winkler were the condition and the perspectives for the development of the Bulgarian-Austrian relations, the two countries stands in the negotiations on the status of Kosovo and the possibilities for more active co-operation in the Danube and the Black Sea region, the Foreign Ministry said.
