
World famous Brazilian writer Paulo Coelho is among the fans of Bulgarian singer and drummer Elitsa Todorova.
Coelho contacted Todorova by email to express his admiration, Todorova’s team said. In their correspondence Coelho said that he very much wanted to see and listen to Todorova perform live, avtora.com said.
The conversation took place right after the concert of Todorova and her partner Stoyan Yankoulov in Paris in December 2007. Coelho said that he was regretted that he was in Brazil at the time of the concert.
Todorova invited the writer to be the special guest of their concert in France in the spring of 2008, avtora.com said.
Other celebrities, among which Albert II Prince of Monaco, Swedish royal family and UNESCO Director-General Koïchiro Matsuura, were fans of the Bulgarian duo.
Todorova and Yankoulov represented Bulgaria and ranked fifth during the Eurovision song contest in 2007.
