OPPOSITION PARTY IN BULGARIA GETS READY FOR NO-CONDIDENCE MOTION
14:33 Tue 06 Feb 2007

Right-wing Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) will prepare a vote of no-confidence against the government, UDF leader Petar Stoyanov said.

Stoyanov said as quoted by Focus news agency that the biggest failures of the Cabinet's policy were in the spheres of healthcare, energy, security and social policy.

A number of meetings with business and civil organisation will take place concerning the vote.

Public discontent was sufficient so it was worth to tabling the motion, Stoyanov said.

UDF was denied for the second time the right to question Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev concerning healtchare policies, UDF said.
