Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev should present his views on the problems of Bulgaria's healtchare system, representatives of right-wing opposition parties Union of Democratic Forces (UDF), Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) and Bulgaria People's Union (BPU) said.
In case the ruling majority turned down the request of the opposition, the three parties will demand parliamentary debates on the Cabinet's healthcare strategy, Darik Radio reported.
Healhcare problems could not lead to a non-confidence motion initially, opposition parties said.
In case explanations were missing and the situation continued worsening a non-confidence motion might be considered, rightist parties representatives said. Before such measures parties had to try to find a solution, they said.
The problem was more general than the policies of Health Minister Radoslav Gaidarski, UDF said. The minister himself was the victim of bad strategies, the party said.
On January 18 the National Assembly approved a new set of amendments to laws over medications.
