Online registration for kindergartens and nursery schools in Sofia will be available after February 4 2008.

The new website, at http://kg.sofia.bg, was part of the information system for services for kindergartens in the Sofia municipality, Computerworld.bg said.

The main purpose of the site was to ease the process of applying and ranking for kindergartens and nurseries, Computerworld.bg said.

Registrations would be open starting on February 4 at 9.00am. On January 4, information about available places in kindergartens and nursery schools for the year 2008/2009 would be published, as well as additional information about the registration and acceptance process for kindergartens, a municipal media statement said.

Applications would be open from February 4 to May 30 2008, after which the first round of placements would be published.

At the moment of writing, the website was available in Bulgarian only.
