Next week Bulgaria will host three-way talks on the construction of oil pipeline project Bourgas-Alexandroupolis. Representatives from Bulgaria, Russia and Greece will take part in the discussions.
All three countries are ready to create a project company, which will manage the construction works, Regional Development Minister Assen Gagauzov said.
The petroleum, which will be carried through the pipeline has also been provided, Gagauzov said. This was a major problem until now, Darik radio reported.
A second pipeline project, Bourgas-Vlora will be considered in the future, Gagauzov said. A delay occurred due to the elections in Albania and the decision of local authorities to develop tourism in the Vlora region.
The economic parameters of these deals have also proved to be inefficient, Gagauzov said. The Cabinet supports both projects and is ready to work on the creation of a universal terminal, necessary for the developments.
