No candidates have applied for the purchase of Bulgartabac Holding’s cigarette production facility in Kyrdzhali.

The initial price of the factory was set at 2.5 million leva.

Kyrdzhali- Bulgartabac executive manager Yumer Yumer said that nearly 1060 tons of row material are currently ready for processing in the factory.

The factory is signing contracts with producers for the purchase of tobacco this year, Yumer said.

In April, Bulgartabac Holding announced the criteria for the sale of its factories, among which the facility in Kyrdzhali.

The holding decided to sell 90.56 per cent of the factory’s capital. The only criterion to be evaluated in all offers is the suggested price.
