Child violence is once again on the rise in schools in Bulgaria. On November 22 a 16-year-old was beaten up by two other boys.

A quarrel over a girl led to the fight, Novinar newspaper reported. The boy was taken to Haskovo’s emergency room with several wounds and hemorrhages.

Another incident occurred in Samokov, where a father beat up a boy that attacked his son, Novinar said.

On November 22 the Education Ministry said that increasing number of schools would have a psychologist employed.

According to current regulations psychologists work in schools having more than 500 students.
