Balkanstroy construction company would build a new ski and golf centre near the mountain town of Razlog, InvestBulgaria Agency said.
The new centre is meant for year-round tourism. It would be located in the Kulinoto area near Bansko resort and would be finished in three years, Dnevnik daily reported.
The project involves the construction of ski zone with 20 installations, including lifts routes of 20 km and nearly 60 km long ski tracks. The centre would have the capacity to accommodate 6500 ski tourists per day, Dnevnik said.
The golf area of the centre will include of golf playground, club building, hotel and commercial complexes.
Project investment reached 240 million leva, InvestBulgaria said.
After the building boom over-constructed famous Bansko resort, investors were becoming interested in the nearby towns, such as Razlog and Dobrinishte, Dnevnik said.
