Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev asked the management of the National Revenue Agency (NRA) to suggest more efficient means for tax collection.
Stanishev launched a series of work meetings with NRA representatives, aiming to increase budgetary revenue from fund collection.
Better fund collection would enable the Cabinet carry out its priorities, Stanishev said.
On June 25, Stanishev met NRA head Maria Mourgnina. Finance Minister Plamen Oresharski also took part in the discussion.
Stanishev will also meet representatives of customs agencies.
NRA has one week to report on new revenue collection measures.
