President of the National Football Union (BFU) Borislav Mihailov said that he would offer Levski coach Stanimir Stoilov to guide the national football team.
Stoilov led the national team in the two Euro 2008 qualification matches against Belarus. Bulgaria was victorious in both. Stoilov, however, accepted to act only as temporary coach for the two matches.
Chances for Stoilov’s further involvement with the national team were zero, Mihailov said. Levski’s management stood behind its previous decision.
In 10 days the negotiations would produce results, Mihailov said.
The decision depended on Stoilov himself, rather than on Levski’s management, Mihailov said. According to BFU Stoilov is the most suitable candidate for the position.
