BOURGAS Airport posted BGN 500,000 profit for the year 2000, thanks to an increase in passengers, executive director Dimitar Kaloyanov said on Tuesday, describing the situation as ‘unusually profitable’. There was a passenger turnover of 400,000 on approximately 6,000 flights. Currently the airport in negotiating the next summer season with new airlines such as Condor and Lot, Mr Kaloyanov added.
