09:00 Mon 22 Jan 2007

A company from the city of Plovdiv began the construction of the biggest trade centre in the town of Pazardzhik.

The complex would be constructed on 6069 sq m near Pazardzhik’s roundabout, Dnevnik daily newspaper said. Sienit Holding purchased the land for 152 000 leva after a tender.

Sienit invested at least five million leva in the complex and would open 200 work places, Dnevnik said.

The centre would include 13 000 sq m constructed area on three levels and an underground parking.

Each floor will feature one big shop and nearly 200 smaller trade areas. Restaurants, snack bars, cafes, bowling and fitness halls will also be among the facilities.

Sienit manager Valentin Kunchev said that the trade areas would only be rented, instead of sold.

The trade centre would be finished by January 2008, Dnevnik said.
