Three miners were killed in a mining accident at a Bulgarian lead and zinc mine on November 29, Health Ministry announced.
Two other miners were taken to hospital after what was believed to have been a landslide and a gas explosion in the mine of Djourkovo in south Bulgaria, Reuters said.

Officials could not say how many miners were inside the mine when the accident occurred, Reuters reported.
The accident was the third with fatalities since the beginning of 2007. In October two workers died in a landslide in a coal mine, while an explosion in the same coal mine killed two people and injured nine.
