MINER DIED OF GAS INTOXICATION IN BULGARIA

A 57-year-old miner was found dead in the Boyan Dol mine, near the town of Tvurditsa, near Sliven.

Methane gas intoxication caused the death, police said as quoted by Focus news agency.

Around 4pm on November 5 2007, Tvurditsa police was informed an accident occurred in the mine.

The victim was found by another miner.

Police launched a preliminary investigation.
