Medics in Bulgaria will start protest demonstrations on February 15, representatives of the Bulgarian Medical Association (BMA) said.
Protests will try to increase awareness towards the crisis Bulgaria's healthcare system is experiencing, BMA said.
BMA would demand European funding and guarantees of quality and accessible healthcare, Focus news agency reported.
Before protests start BMA will organise a national healthcare conference. All institutions involved in the process are expected to participate.
Medical protests are going to continue until all BMA demands are met. By February 9, BMA representatives will meet doctors in various Bulgarian cities to invite them for participation in the national protests.
