Medics from a number of Bulgarian cities will protest for an hour against the problems in the healthcare sector.
The Bulgarian Medical Union (BMU) took a decision for the protest during its February 26 summit.
Work in medical institutions will go on undisturbed, BMU said as quoted by Bulgarian news agency BTA.
Previously Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev refused to meet representatives of medical organisations in Bulgaria. His decision led to the new protests.
Health Minister Radoslav Gaidarski said that the ruling coalition has already reached consensus on 80 to 90 per cent of the measures included in the national healthcare strategy to solve the majority of problems.
