MANCHESTER UNITED HAS NOT GIVEN UP ON BULGARIA'S BERBATOV
10:17 Wed 22 Aug 2007

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is desperate to find best scorer for his team; he already had asked the team's management to find someone immediately.

Manchester has not given up yet on Bulgarian national football team captain Dimitar Berbatov, who currently plays for the UK's Tottenham, Darik radio reported.

Ferguson is also considering Obafemi Martins from Newcastle. He has already made his inquiry for Martins, after Ferguson's team managed to score only one goal in three matches since the beginning of the season.

Bulgaria's best scorer Dimitar Berbatov remains one of the most-sought after players from Manchester United, but his high price is making the team refrain from more a serious attack.

Ferguson previously announced that he was ready to pay 17 million British pounds for Berbatov. He said that he was impressed by Berbatov’s performance. Berbatov scored 19 goals this season during his first participation in the Premierships.

If Ferguson does not want to let Heinze go to Liverpool, then why should Berbatov be allowed to go to United. Ferguson, keeps your hands off, and let Berbatove enjoy a promising career. The money is not everything. He is making Spurs tick and comptete.
