1992: Devin AD is established as a limited liability company owned by local persons and Devin municipality.

1999: The company becomes a joint stock company with 100 per cent private capital. The main subject of its activity is bottling and sales of bottled mineral water, spring water and carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks.

2004: Devin is a leader on the bottled-water market in Bulgaria. Bottled Devin water is exported to Europe, Asia and North America.

2005: Devin is obtained by Austrian investment fund Wing Equity Management.

The plant is equipped with modern syrup industry machines, which allows Devin to produce non-carbonated sweetened drinks such as Fitness and the iced tea ICY. The state-of-the-art equipment is supplied by leading sector companies from Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland. The production cycle is completely closed and includes manufacturing of bottles, bottling, labelling and arranging in pallets. The production process is in compliance with modern ecological standards for environment preservation.

The factory has its own modern laboratory, which exercises constant chemical and microbiological control, so that the necessary quality of the manufacturing process and bottled beverages is guaranteed.

Now: The company has a concession for water use of boreholes 3 and 5 in the Devin region, located in the Rhodope mountains. The water springs forth with debit 15 l/sec.
Devin Mineral Water is slightly mineralised, suitable for daily and widespread consumption, as well as for people who have an active lifestyle. Mineral water is distinguished by its high natural and balanced mineral content. It has a total mineralisation of 255 mg/l.

In addition, Devin has a licence for use of the Baldaran source, from which flows the company’s spring water, unique in that it has a combination of a low mineral content (82 mg/l) and extremely low sodium content. The Bulgarian Paediatric Association recommends Devin Spring Water even for newborns due to its purity and suitable content. Because of its low mineralisation, it has been also recommended for older people who have any problems with blood pressure, kidneys and so on.

The company provides jobs to more than 220 people, which is of crucial importance given the high level of unemployment in the region.
