Macedonian tourists visiting the Bulgarian Black Sea resorts prefer Albena, Golden Sands, Sunny Beach and Nessebar, Bulgarian ambassador to Macedonia Miho Mihov said.
Out of the winter resorts, Bansko and Borovets turn out to be most attractive destinations, Mihov said as quoted by Focus news agency.
Macedonians visit the towns of Sandanski and Velingrad year round.
The interest in Bulgaria is unchanged despite new regulations following the country’s EU entry, Mihov said. He commented on reports that the number of tourists coming from Macedonia will decrease due to slow visa-issuing procedures.
