MACEDONIAN PARLIAMENT SPEAKER INVOLVED IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT IN BULGARIA

Ljubisha Georgievski, speaker of the Macedonian parliament was involved in a car accident on the Pernik - Sofia road on October 4, Macedonian Makfax reported.

The accident was announced by Macedonian deputy speaker Besim Dogani, but he gave no details.

According to police sources from Makfax, the incident occurred when an unidentified vehicle crossed the path of the motorcade of official vehicles and crashed into Georgievski's Mercedes.

The car was substantially damaged, MaKFax said.
 
Georgievski sustained no injuries, although he did have to undergo additional medical exams, Makfax said.
