At present Bulgaria’s unemployment level is the lowest one registered in the past 15 years, Labour and Social Policies Minister Emilia Maslarova said.
The unemployment level is 10.83 per cent, Darik radio reported.
By the end of the year the Labour and Social Policies Ministry will approve a law for facilitated credit provision for young families, Maslarova said.
Another goal of the ministry will be the provision of new employment programmes, Maslarova said. These would aim at further improving the labour market conditions in Bulgaria.
Some regions continue having unemployment rate above the national average, said Maslarova. The reason is the low professional training and education level.
This year, the Labour and Social Policies Ministry plans to work on new qualification programmes, Maslarova said.
The lower unemployment level signifies stable national economy, Maslarova said. In one year the number of unemployed Bulgarians decreased by 70 000 people, said she.
