The Kremikovtzi workers continued protests on February 6, Dnevnik daily said.
"We want stabilisation of the steelmaker, investments and due food money to be paid,“ Lyudmil Pavlov, chairman of KT Podkrepa trade union said as quoted by Bulgarian news agency BTA.
According to Pavlov, about 3000 people took part in the February 6 morning protest. The workers said they would protest the next day again.
The new Kremikovtzi CEO, Indian Jagannadham, was expected to come to the steelworks on February 6, Dnevnik daily said.
Former Kremikovtzi CEO Alexander Tomov remains a member of the steelmaker's board of directors and will be responsible for the company's global foreign strategies.
