
Iraqi soldiers would be trained in the national military university Vassil Levski in Veliko Turnovo.
The training would last two weeks and would be related to peacekeeping operations, representatives of the Defence Ministry said.
Bulgarian and Greek instructors would carry out a programme drafted in a Greek training centre, Focus news agency reported.
The training results from an agreement signed on July 14 2006 by Bulgaria’s Defence Ministry and the respective institutions in Greece and Iraq.
