Investment fund Equest is preparing to list its TechnomarketDomo subsidiary on the Bucharest bourse in the third quarter of 2008, the company said in a filing with the London exchange where it is quoted.
ING Bank has been appointed the sole bookrunner with Raiffeisen Centrobank and Cheuvreux acting as the joint lead managers, said the company's statement.
TechnomarketDomo is the newly established parent company of the Bulgarian operations of electronics retailer Technomarket and the Romanian operations of its sister company Domo.
The fund had said it will list TechnomarketDomo either on the Sofia or the Bucharest bourse.
The investment company will also list a GDP issue on the London stock exchange, it said in the statement.
In H1, TechnomarketDomo performed well "with aggregate sales for the six months ending 30 June 2008 17 per cent ahead of the pro-forma aggregated sales for the comparable period in 2007," said the company's statement.
"TechnomarketDomo is the market leader in retail electronics in the Balkan region and is 75 per cent owned by EIB and 25 per cent by the founders of Technomarket."
The electronics business of the fund covers Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Kosovo.
