Bulgaria is to take part in a spa tourism, rehabilitation and medical tourism international exhibition in Finland and Estonia from May 8 to 10.
State Agency for Tourism (SAT) and Bulgaria’s embassy in Finland arranged for the country to take part in the event, Focus news agency reported.
Bulgaria’s Health Ministry will promote spa tourism opportunities in Bulgaria at presentations in Finland and Estonia, part of the Europe Market Festival scheduled for May 7 to 12. The festival traditionally celebrates Europe Day on May 9.
Health Ministry representatives will brief expo participants about treatment opportunities about Bulgaria’s specialist recuperation hospitals.
Bulgarian Health Ministry officials will also meet representatives of various health institutions in Finland. Topics to be discussed include possibilities for co-operation in offering spa services to EU citizens in Bulgarian spa centres.
