Industrial metal icons Ministry will headline Arena Muzika festival with a gig on July 12 2008, event organisers Sofia Music Enterprises said on February 5.
Ministry said last year they would embark on a last world tour in 2008, starting with North America and ending in Eastern Europe, making their first visit to Sofia also one of their last gigs before disbanding.
Following the recording of “The Last Sucker”, Ministry's twelfth studio album, and the cover versions compilation "Cover Up", band founder Al Jourgensen has gathered half a dozen of quite imminent musicians to accompany him on the C U LaTouR.
Among them are ex-Megadeth and Suicidal Tendencies drummer Jimmy DeGrasso, Static-X bassist Tony Campos, keyboardist John Bechdel and guitarist Tommy Victor of Prong, as well as LA-based guitarist Sin Quirin.
Tickets will go on sale on TicketPro.bg on February 11, with the first 500 sold for 20 leva, and the rest for 25 leva. On the day of the concert, their price will be 30 leva.
The venue of the gig is the 3 000-capacity Hristo Botev Sports Hall.
