The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) is to lend Bulgaria 15 million euro under an agreement signed with the bank on June 12 2007.
The loan is for the period from January 1 to December 31 2008, Focus news agency reported.
The funds will be used for social investments and an employment encouragement programme.
Standards of living are to be improved by funding various organisations and integration of unemployed people.
The Government has approved the agreement, which is awaiting ratification by Parliament.
