Bulgaria would be launching a mass recruitment campaign for its new Managed Business Process Services Centre in Sofia, IBM Bulgaria officials told journalists on October 4 2007.
The several-hundred-strong centre will be IMB's sixth worldwide and will operate alongside existing centres in Argentina, China, Hungary, India and the U.S.
Unlike the Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft centres in operation in Sofia, the IBM centre will offer business consultancy services to existing clients of the company. In particular, services will be primarily oriented toward companies, which opt to outsource their finance, accounting and external supply systems.
IBM would primarily seek to hire accountants and financial experts and foreign language speakers, the IBM press office said. The positions will be open to Bulgarians, living both in the country and abroad.
IBM has hired Manpower and AIMS as partners in the headhunting campaign.
