I AM NOT A ONE-SEASON WONDER-BULGARIA’S BERBATOV
10:50 Mon 01 Oct 2007

Bulgarian striker of Tottenham Dimitar Berbatov “has no intention of being dismissed as a one-season wonder.”

The “supremely talented Bulgarian” was trying to resolve the problem with the less than expected goals that he scores, UK’s Daily Mail reported.

Berbatov scored only one goal in seven matches.

He said that he was not happy with his form at the moment. “When you don't score it's frustrating. But if I don't and others do and we win (…) then that's the important thing. That is when everyone is happy,” Berbatov said.

Berbatov said that he cannot explain his form. “Maybe the defenders know me better. But I have to say if they think that's the cause, then it shouldn't be.”

Tottenham believes that “Berbatov will soon make opponents pay for his frustration,” Daily Mail said.

“I will keep pushing until I score again,” the striker promised.
