Holiday&Spa tourism exhibition opens in Sofia

The 25th anniversary edition of the Holiday&Spa fair, organised by Prim Expo in co-operation with the State Agency for Tourism, opened on February 21 2008 in Sofia.

The exhibition, running until February 23, featured more than 320 tour operators and tourist agencies, state and branch organisations, regional and local tourism councils, spa and fitness equipment companies from countries such as Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Austria, Macedonia, England, Cyprus, Croatia, Egypt, Thailand and others.

This year's event focus on hotels, spa centers and complexes, hydrotherapy and eco tourism, cultural and wine tourism, transport organisations, communication technologies, tourist products and equipment, health insurance companies, as well as vacancy properties and golf tourism.

The event was accompanied by a round table on the subjects of history, culture and tourism attended by Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Ivailo Kalfin, Moldova's Minister of Culture and Tourism Arthur Kozma and government representatives from Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Turkey and others.

Sofia city hall and its tourism council, Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association, Bulgarian Association of Tourist Agencies and other sector associations are partnering the event.

	To the management, To bring in politcis in to the exhibition is a act of unprofesionalism and very low moral level. To invite somebody in your country and tell him to leave as the other visitor is asking for is an act of people with no character and spine strong enough to defend its own nation in first place. Acting on orders from people from third countries inside your own country is beyond believe, but this is of no supprise as Bulgaria has achieved the Neo-Nazi standards of EU. You should be ashame of yourself , kicking out Macedonians on request of Greek idiots is an act of idotis in itself, What is your benefit from this deed only people on your level can undertsand, This is just another pathetic show of how stupid some people are, Toni Dimovski London , UK
