GREEK COMPANY TO CONSTRUCT TRADE CENTRE IN BULGARIA'S CAPITAL

Greek company Danaos Development, owner of Danaos Group, will construct trade complex in Malinova dolina area, near Bulgaria’s capital of Sofia.

The company would invest 266.4 million leva in the next three years in the project, Dnevnik daily said.

Danaos would construct a modern centre on three levels featuring department stores, small shops, cinemas, restaurants and offices. The complex would dispose of 2500 parking places in the open air.

The centre would spread on 150 000 sq m constructed area, Dnevnik said.

The project will create 1000 indirect work places. More than 350 workers will be needed for the construction of the building alone.

Danaos would receive a first class investor certificate because of the project and would become the first Greek company to have such certificate in Bulgaria, Dnevnik reported.

Danaos Group is cargo ship owner. It possesses 31 cargo ships and is among the biggest companies in its sector in the US.
