Golf at the office

Mon, Jan 16 2006 01:00 CET bySport Staff 351 Views

ST SOFIA Golf Club and Spa is organising an Office Golf Championship in Sofia.

"You don't need to be a member of a club, you don't even need to be a golfer," said the club, which is organising the event in co-operation with Chivas.

"You can have your round of golf in the office - between the desks and the copier machine, next to your boss."

According to the organisers, office golf is the perfect way to mix business and pleasure, bringing together people from different departments and enabling them to communicate easier.

The organisers will set up a golf course in the office of a competing company.

"The event is as big as you want to make it, so be sure to involve as many people as you like."

Every office champion will receive a special prize and the right to compete in the grand finale at the end of March at the Sofia Golf Club and Spa.

To register a team, contact Doriana Dimitrova at +359 889 355 344, or apply online at www.stsofiagolf.com. E-mail and fax applications are also possible. Inquiries: (02) 943 45 05.
