German minister of state for Europe Gunter Gloser said that Germany would ratify Bulgaria’s EU accession treaty as scheduled, according to Bulgaria’s European Integration Ministry.
Germany’s parliamentary committee on European affairs would discuss Bulgaria’s EU accession treaty next week, a ministry media statement quoted Gloser as saying.
He said that he would also discuss the matter with European enlargement commissioner Olli Rehn.
Denmark and Germany are the only two EU countries yet to ratify Bulgaria’s EU accession treaty.
