GERMAN POLICE ARRESTS BULGARIAN WITH 12.5KG HEROIN

During a raid by the anti-drug unit of the Bavarian police, an organised crime group with a Bulgarian member was uncovered on November 26, Dnevnik daily reported.

Police raided a restaurant in the German town of Munich, where 12.5kg heroin was seized.

Five had been detained, three of them were later put under arrest.

The arrested were two Macedonians and a Bulgarian, the probable supplier. The three were caught while transferring the drugs.

Besides the drugs, cash money and cars, which had been used in for drug trafficking were seized. The drugs were hidden in the airbags of the car.

According to the police, the quantity of drugs was enough for 350 000 doses.
