Representatives of nearly 300 German medium and small-sized businesses, operating in different sectors, will arrive in Bulgaria on Tuesday to meet potential partners.
Company representatives will meet on May 10 in 11 during a conference on economic growth in Southeastern Europe and company co-operation strategies, Dnevnik newspaper reported. The German-Bulgarian Trade and Industrial Chamber is among the organisers of the event.
German companies, operating in the fields of construction, communal infrastructure, environmental technologies, medical equipment, banking and finance will visit Bulgaria.
All these companies are looking for Bulgarian partners. The Bulgarian side will aid the German trade and production activities.
Companies from other Southeast European countries will also take part in the forum.
One of the main topics of discussion will be the creation of a free trade zone in Southeastern Europe, organisers of the event said.
