The long-awaited concert by Gary Moore in Sofia has been postponed.

Moore was hospitalised in Belfast after a lung inflammation.

Organisers of the concert in Bulgaria are still awaiting the official diagnosis from Moore’s medic and information on the health of the musician.

The legendary guitarist and blues performer was to hold a concert on Sofia’s Battenberg Square on May 9 2007 as part of the celebration of Europe Day.

Moore’s manager is to announce another date for a concert in Bulgaria. The event had been postponed several times in recent years, avtora.com said.
