Guitar virtuoso Gary Moore will perform for free in Sofia on May 9.

The concert comes to mark the day of Europe in Bulgaria. All initiatives marking the day receive the support of Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev.

Moore’s performance is scheduled for 7pm and will take place at Sofia’s Batenberg Square, avtora.com reported.

Emblematic rock bands like Thin Lizzy, Skid Row and Colosseum had Moore as their member.

Moore is seen as one of the most talented guitar players of all times. His career began in the 60s.
